About Breugem

Breugem Meeting Point is the tasting room and brewery that belongs to the beer brand Breugem Beer. Breugem Beer was founded in 2009 as a social enterprise, but they have become much more than that. They are both social and inclusive, and are always seeking for connections. Breugem embraces diversity and helps people with mental disorders and physical challenges to a job.

Everyone is welcome, regardless of their background, preference, or color. Breugem appreciates people with a positive and open outlook on life. Give a little more kisses (zoentjes) or share a spontaneous high five from time to time. You will see, it will make you feel better!

Route

By car
Breugem Meeting Point in Houthavens is easily accessible by car. You can approach the tasting room from three directions:

1. Via Nieuwe Hemweg from Ring A10 – Exit S101 (Houthavens)
2. Via Transformatorweg from Station Sloterdijk or Ring A10 – Exit S102
3. Via Tasmanstraat from Amsterdam city center / Central Station

Parking

Option 1
There is a spacious parking lot directly behind the tasting room. Currently, payment can only be made via the mobile phone using the EASY PARK app. The cost is 3.5 euros per hour or 24 euros per day. Payment can be made through the app.

Option 2
At a distance of 8 minutes on foot, parking is available at football club SDZ for 10 cents per hour. From here, it is only an 8-minute walk to the tasting room.

By public transport

From Central Station: Take bus 22 towards Sloterdijk, get off at Zaanstraat stop (7 minutes). Then, walk straight ahead for another hundred meters and cross the street at the pedestrian traffic lights near the Westcourt Art Hotel to reach Breugem Meeting Point (4 minutes).

From Station Sloterdijk: Take bus 22 towards Amsterdam Centraal Station, get off at Zaanstraat stop (9 minutes). Then, walk back fifty meters and cross the street at the pedestrian traffic lights near the Westcourt Art Hotel to reach Breugem Meeting Point (3 minutes).

Please note! If you are using public transport and Google Maps, enter “WestCord Art Hotel”. You can cross the street at the intersection near the hotel. The route suggested by Google is incorrect.
