Dugros uses GS1 label to supply Coop Danmark

In an effort to streamline the supply chain between Dugros and Coop Danmark , Dugros decided to implement GS1 labeling in early 2011. This label, featuring the unique GS1 shipping container code (SSCC) ensures that shipments are accurately identified, can be easily traced, and travel through the supply chain faster.

Dugros, a leather and apparel wholesaler, uses Type 2 Solutions’ GS1 label web service Palletlabel to generate GS1 SSCC labels that are applied to pallets shipped to Coop Danmark. Coop Danmark is a key account for Dugros, and procures a vast assortment of wallets, bags and other apparel for its promotional campaigns.

Pieter Brussaard, Sales Manager at Dugros, tells us:

“We are a forward-thinking family-owned business. Since our founding in 1953, our customers have been at the center of our thought process. What makes us different is our on-time delivery performance and our high level of service. Type 2 Solutions’ GS1 label web service fits seamlessly within that philosophy, and is user-friendly, affordable and accessible online 24/7. We have been using their web service for more than a year now, and are very pleased with it.” Pieter Brussaard, Sales Manager at Dugros
