Type 2 Solutions now official GS1 Solution Provider
Since March 1, 2010, Type 2 Solutions has officially become a GS1 Solution Provider. The GS1 labels with bar-codes generated using our products, One2Label and the O2L WEBservices, comply with the worldwide GS1 standards and have been certified by GS1-Nederland.
The GS1 Solution Provider Program was initiated to promote the benefits that solutions providers and GS1 Nederland can offer to their common clients. The main objective of the program is to intensify the use of GS1 standards in the Supply Chain.
GS1 (formerly EAN International) is a worldwide organization that develops services and products, such as the bar-code, to help improve business processes. GS1 counts more than 1 million participating companies in 30 industries and 104 countries. With GS1 codes and the associated symbols, your products and shipments are uniquely identifiable by all your business partners.

Type 2 Solutions will attend the 2010 VNSG Conference on April 8 and 9, where it will present One2Label and O2L WEBservices.
One2Label will be presented on the information market and during the parallel session B2 on April 8 at 2.15pm, in a lecture by Ms. Laura Fitzpatrick, IT Manager at FMC BioPolymer.
In her speech, Ms. Fitzpatrick will describe how and why FMC BioPolymer uses One2Label in 10 manufacturing and distribution facilities worldwide to optimize an essential part of the supply chain, the labeling process.
One2Label retrieves the data needed to generate the label using an online SAP R/3 (ECC6) connection.
O2L WEBservices will be demonstrated on the information market in combination with SAP NetWeaver Visual Composer.
The 2010 VNSG Conference, THE knowledge platform for SAP and Business Objects users, is held on April 8 and 9 at the MECC convention center in Maastricht. Are you attending?
