Design phase Movenience TIPS completed

The design phase of TIPS, a new electronic payment processing system commissioned by Movenience, has been completed in a joint effort between Movenience, Technolution and Type 2 Solutions.

TIPS, short for Transaction Information and Processing System, is the soon-to-be handling system for toll, parking and other mobility-related payments.

The new system will continue support for Movenience's on-board unit known as the t-tag. The t-tag, a smart and compact device placed on the dashboard, makes it possible to pass through any suitable toll gate of the N.V. Westerscheldetunnel, swiftly and without stopping.

The system will be developed by Technolution. Type 2 Solutions manages the data migration of existing t-tag users to this new electronic payment system and the new toll levying system of the N.V. Westerscheldetunnel.

Movenience is a joint venture of N.V. Westerscheldetunnel, Brisa (a Portuguese toll operator), and NedMobiel, and was established in 2007.

Movenience combines comfort with mobility in the infrastructure pricing market.

New release of T2S One2Label

A new version of One2Label, the dynamic labeling solution with online ERP connectivity, is soon to be released.

Among the improvements, a new web-based Intelligent User Interface will reduce the steps to generate a label even further.

Moreover, One2Label's business rules, which allow shaping label content without having to modify the underlying ERP system, can now be managed by authorized users. These business rules provide the flexibility that is needed to satisfy customer labeling requests and requirements in today's increasingly global market.

As in earlier releases, One2Label still offers PDF and ZPL labels, and supports the de facto standard in supply chain management, GS1.

Data integration specialist Type 2 Solutions believes in growth with new Sales & Marketing Manager

Type 2 Solutions, the data integration specialist, welcomes Judith de Witte as Sales & Marketing Manager. Mrs. de Witte has previously held different positions at Veenman (Xerox corporation) and Tech Data.
